Just bought one off of e-bay tonight. Got it for $50.00 which I thought was very reasonable. Does anybody have one and what do you think of it.

You got yourself a good deal there. I got the left hand retrieve model(5601) and I find that it has nice line capacity. Enough for light line salmon fishing in the saltwater. Good river reel too.

Drawbacks: NUMERO UNO!- that darn drag knob!!! almost lost that thing on several occasions when I was using 1/2 oz or lighter.

Minor inconvenience- wish it utilized a different free spool system, don't like the metal button that much, would prefer a bar that you push down with your thumb.

I have several and they work good for an all around light salmon and steely reel. Some tend to develop gearing problems and stay away from the anti-drag models ("reel" loosers). They're getting cheeper now cause they came out with a new upgraded model late last year. Good fishin'
