wonderful memories (pic) - 07/14/03 05:49 AM
I wonder how many nets I will be dragging out of the rivers this year? I guess some of our so called enviromental stewarts get so drunk they forget they put a net out or for that matter they must forget they even had a net! Yep, they must really need these fish for subsistance i guess they are more flavorfull when aged or maybe its has something to do with some type of ceremony.
I like the Enumclaw hicks approach... But I'm not supposed to tell anyone
Apparently hay bales work real well on nets though...

did you report that net , if you did'n't you should ,maybe they can fine the tribe it belongs to . My fishing partner found one in the green and one in the Skagit a few years back and they fined the tribes both times , one of the nets was sunken on purpose and they caught them pulling the fish out of the net. this was when there season was closed.

I report them but I never here if anything was done and I find an average of 5 a year.

Curtis Hay bails with barb wire work better. But I would never do that.

the hay bale thing reminds me of when i'd get pissed at the nisquallys and start throwing large chunks of brush into the river directly above the nets
