Kachess, Cle Clum Lake... any carp? - 07/14/03 01:25 PM

Hey,

I stopped out Kachess and Cle Clum Lakes last weekend to scout them out for some carp fishing (catch and release). I found some nice shore fishing spots and the lakes look awesome. Anybody know what kind of fish are in these lakes?

Liek I said in my previous posts... I just moved to Kirkland from Pittsburgh PA and I am looking for some area lakes to go all night carp fishing.

You want Carp?

2 words - MOSES LAKE!

Look to the small shallow bays and backwater areas. That lake is FULL of them!

i don't think those two lakes have carp in them, since they're relatively cold. if you're really after those monsters, it pays to take a trip east to the potholes and moses lake. if you fish the spillways at moses, there's a ton of carp to be had

The Potholes is another good place. I've seen people catch 30 lb + carp there.
