I'm in a "Saturday Night Mood"! But i bet Im not the only one who would like to know what link you are referring to. Don't tease us. smile

I like your monikers. "3/0 in my eye" is self explainatory (idiot - jk). But what could CWUgirl stand for?

Cowlitz Whuppin and Unforgiving girl?
Central Washington University girl? Ugh.
Catching Walleyes is Unbelievable girl?
Cahorting Watchdog Underground girl?
Central Wazoo U-haul girl?

Can anyone Whip out an Updated answer?

Given that I know her better then anyone on this board, I will be more then happy to provide you with an updated answer (as the latest episode of The InFishermen is on thus she will be slow to respond).

CWUgirl stands for Crappie & Walleye Unlimited girl. So you were close...

btw-She loves the crappie and walleye masters of The InFishermen so much that she actually has a poster of Al Linder above her bed.

Re: Nevermind - 08/03/03 12:43 AM

1. I have no idea who Al Linder is.

2. I've never fished for crappie or walleye in my life and never plan to lower myself to that level. Yup, I said it! evil

3. Sandpiper, number 2 on your list is correct (hince I live in Ellensburg). However, I'm now a graduate, so perhaps a moniker change is in order.

4. Sparkey, you are dead to me! You don't even want me to get in to why you're called "Sparkey." fight :p

Begging your pardon CWUgirl........

Walley are one of the hardest fish to figure out and catch consistently, and Crappie happen to be the best fish to teach children how to fish (lots of action, good fighters, delicious to eat).

Since you are from the Great State of Washington and a grad of the "U".... I will forgive you this time.... laugh

CdubyaGirl

I used to have fun on the playgrounds of Ellensburg as a kid, on occasion when we visited my Aunt/Uncle/Cousins there.

Last time thru there was a few years ago, after taking a Cascades tour that included the jaunt over to Roslyn to see the "Northern Exposure" town.

So, when you gettin outta there and coming to the big city by the bay? wink More rivers on this side of the mountains too.

MC- You can keep all your subpar fishes. I won't fight you for them!! When I'm in Idaho I hit up the good fishing opportunities, such as in Henry's Fork, etc.

Sandy- I'm currently looking for employment on that side of the mountains and when I do, I'll move back over. I love this town, but its entirely too hard to make a living here. I'll miss the close proximity to hunting and fishing, though. cry

What the hell is this thread about anyway?
I graguated from the university of ellensburg in 2001. Don't miss the town much. I'm not much of a party animal and they don't have any steelhead around. And I've never seen a place with such a high concentration of, umm, what's a nice word for skanks?

Sparkey- Where did you graduate from? Uh huh....Nuff said.

Cupo- Its all in who you attract... Personally, I like a town of less than 15,000 people with great hunting and fishing opportunities within an hours drive, almost no crime, no traffic, friendly people and a good climate. But that's just me. Apparently my experience was a little different from your skankfest.

Micro- If Sparkey isn't careful, I just might share. :p
