Hoist a glass tonight and resolve to fish, and fish, and fish in 2004!
I planned to fish today, too, but was skittish about towing the boat trailer on the slick roads. So I'm spending the day checking PP, tying flies and fiddlin' with gear, so I'll be off to a good start in the New Year.
Drive carefully if you're going out tonight.

Let me add my New Year wishes as well. I saw this year out by driving (white knuckled) for two hours to go fishing. I cast 10 times and caught a 10lb. hen and her 16lb. buck. Both hatchery fish. Then turned around and did another white knuckle drive home. All in all a very good day.
May we spend more time together fishing so that our differences pale by comparison.
