Zylotone/clear coat sealer for alumn? - 01/19/04 05:57 PM

I've got a newish Willie's with the zylotone paint and clear coat on the inside. It's all in great shape aside from a couple strips where something has scratched through the clear coat and paint.

Are there any quick fixes to at least reseal these spots? Right now I'm not looking to sand the whole floor down and repaint. I'm just curious if there's some sort of spray-on sealer that will hold through the spring on this surface?

tks,
Bruce

If it is on the floor I woulnt even bother trying to touch it up. Drift boat floors catch hell from sand and your gear scuffing it up.

If you want the boat to look nice on the inside, take some black or grey indoor/outdoor carpet and cover the floor with it.. It looks nice anf helps quite the boat a little..

Hi Bruce,

They sell it in spray can form, Then all you need is the clear coat and they sell that in spray can too.
