Need info on good fishing lakes in Western Washington in Sept. Which lakes are best, with a large boat launch. .

Also, need fishing buddies to fish with me (I am recently retired) Weekdays are best.

I do have a 12' boat to use for awhile, but I want a larger boat (14 - 16ft).

Let me say welcome Unc.

I live down south and I don't really fish for trout much. Sorry I can't help you.

Try posting this request on the WashingtonLakes.com forum. Merwin in Clark had a recent very good report. Welcome to the Forums. Good luck!

Uncle Jim,

Welcome to the board!!

I highly recommend Lake Washington. I fished it with my 12 footer for years. Lots of perch, cutthroat, and yes salmom fishing in the fall.

There is a great little boat ramp in Kenmore, just under the 68th Ave bridge.

Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish are both pretty good lakes with better boat ramps. Lake Washington has ramps on every end of the lake. If you go out on either watch the weather if you go very far from the ramp. Both can get pretty choppy if the wind picks up and lots of boats are out.

This is a good link to find boat ramps.
