2nd and 10th casts - was almost too quick this afternoon. Been doing some experiementing on the upper Snohomish and lower Sky - lots of things are catching fish. picked these out of a pocket along the edge of fast current using a float, pink worm and eggs. These fish were basically in the branches and had to hold the boat in the current cause there's no time to pull anchor. As soon as you set the hook have to horse the fish out into the current immediately with the boat to wash them downstream to fight - I learned the other day that if you don't you'll be fighting a tree instead of a fish within about 10 seconds. Dang I like being unemployed (actually self-employed - but what's the diff sometimes) this time of year
