Cowlits Springers?

Anyone want to share their knowledge about Springers in the Upper Run - Barrier to Blue Creek? My Dad lives right there in Mossyrock and hasn't fished in years, but wants me to take him for a drift this year. PM is fine if you don't want to advertise. Thanks!

I have had some luck using a green corkie and orange yarn with a little shrimp oil....

First of all it's spelled Cowlitz and there are no springers in the Cowlitz.

Nothing personal here Kyle, but it never ceases to amaze me that I can barely get my line wet fishing for steel before the buzz about springers is in the air and across the boards. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't like to do both so much. I swear it's like bringing out the Xmas decorations before Thanksgiving.

Oh well, back to brats :rolleyes: ........ (as visions of springers danced in his head. )
