lower columbia sturgeon

It's about that time of year wher the lower river should start heating up. Haven't heard much as of late except for crappy reports earlier this winter due in part to the abscence of a decent smelt run.

We usually fish deep river. Tried calling the bait shack there the other day but no one was home.

Just looking for a general thumbs up or thumbs down before we spend $50 to get there.

What's the poop?

I was just there yesterday and if I was you I'd save the 50.
