Nootka Sound

What a beautiful experience. Incredible scenery, beautiful water and decent fishing to good king fishing. The only problem was the way people fish up there. Not much organization, just a bunch of guys cutting each other off, going in every direction like ants on an ant hill, trying to catch a 20-something pound nook. Saw only a fish or two over thirty pounds in a week, but plenty in low 20's.

I hear ya, the worst part of it is that the problem folk come from washington and don't realize that instead of fishing wide open water they are actually fishing over structure, shelfs, holes and the such. It wouldn't be that bad if people were educated on the place they are fishing. Not just fishing where the other boats are.
