A post was previously made regarding the sale of a lamiglas G1315 Kenai Special up for bids and I was wondering if anyone knows how well this rod would work for steelhead fishing? I am looking to pick up a decent steelhead rod for near 100$ if anyone has info on that. Thanks a lot.

i have this rod and it is very good and light for its power. i have used it 2 seasons for AK smaller (10-30 lbs and not those 50-70 lbs you hear) kings and it is great. i have used it also for chums. never used it for steelhead. it may be on the heavier side for steelhead but it is medium action so it does not feel stiff at all. probably good for bigger winter steely. i bought it new at Outdoor Emporium in seattle if i recall correctly for about $140ish.
