Does anyone have or know of any one who has an old merc or yamaha from the 100hp to 150hp range that they would like to sell? it doesnt have to run, but be able to run.
How old does it have to be? I have a 100 hp Mercury I think early 90's it runs great and I have it on my 1990 Campion FishingMachine195 and I am thinking about selling the boat...OH and the shop I took it into said that it is a 4-stroke at a certain RPM and greater....It runs fine...

I wouldn't sell just the motor because I would also have to sell the boat and I would rather just sell both and get it done with...Do you know a good website like Kelley Blue Book but for boats so I can get a value for the boat? I bought it for dirt cheap from a friend who just needed it out of his warehouse but I need to find a value estimator for a boat....

i dont know a web site, but if you called a dealer they could probably give you an estimate on your boat.

why don't you post a pic? Maybe someone else would like to buy just the boat and trailer and you could both win. Just an idea.
A) I don't know how to post pictures
B) It's in the shop right now...I decided to just keep the boat and when it goes out on me, I can upgrade to a Whaler or a Trophy or something...

I have a 91 johnson 150 with controls and prop. needs to have the reverse gears changed out. top end was rebuilt winter of 04-05 and has seen little use since. throw me an offer.

1980 150 inline 6 merc. Perfect comp, runs exc, real screamer. freshwater motor since birth, Low hours. no damage ANYWHERE, perfect skeg. Newer stainless prop. no powertrim and no controls $1500 FIRM
