That would work, but Okuma is mostly junk.

Not all junk......my coldwater 153dlx will be on it's fourth salmon season and still working great...even the drag. @ $80.00 for a cheap left hand line counter I'll get at least four seasons out of it=$20.00 per season @ this point I can toss it if it takes a dump..................Good luck,

I've got a Tekota 600, use it even though it's a righty--great reel. I'll take a look at the Okuma Colwater next time I;m at Sportco....*Left handers make up 10% of the population, but there's nowhere near 10% of reel makers that have a LH retrieve, they're missing the market.
