WTB Lamiglas 10 MTC 8-17lb - 12/13/20 03:03 PM

Want to buy The 10' MTC 8-17lb 1/4-5/8 certified pro.
Newer-Used-Blank
Will pay fair price. Can't believe the models that have been discontinued. Used to be great varieties now just a few sticks to choose from.

There are a few Lamiglas rods I'd part with but the closest I have to what you want is the 10' Dave Vedder model rated 10-20# line. Can't remember the lure weight rating. Also have the 8 1/2' MTC 8-17 certified pro. All these rods are nearly new.

I managed to score a MTC blank and build on it,so you could always try that route.

I have a 10' X10 MC-T 8-12 line 3/8-3/4 lure factory built rod used.

One of my favorite rods but wouldn't mind shrinking
the herd. I don't drift much anymore.

I have a picture of it on my cell if you want to text
me your cell number. I don't remember how too
post a picture here anymore.

Thanks for the options guys but really want exact rod.

ArvidiBarker I'm open to a blank. it would be awsome to have a custom. Where did you score yours?

I want a backup for the one I have. Use it as a hardware/drift rod.

Also think it would make a pretty fun coho down rigger rod. Heavy enough for the gear, rigger torque and occasional chinook if one decides to tangle butt light enough for fun.

I got it on an oregon forum, well known. I always watch classified in case deals pop up. I would google around, might find a blank or two.

Riverdick, I believe the rod you're after is the X-10 MTC, aka the Bill Herzog spoon rod. Lami built it to the Zog's spec's, and it's one hellofa sweet spoon rod. Never even had a thought it might be used as a downrigger rod. huh

I have that rod...Spec's are as you quoted. This rod and I have a great deal of history, and together we've put a lot of chrome on the beach. Although I *might* consider selling it, I'm a little fuzzy on what fair market value might be. I take care of my gear, and the rod is still in excellent condition.
