Has anybody fished Bead Lake in Pend Oreille county through the ice this year? I was wondering how thick the ice was. I have been fishing Eloika in Spokane County through the ice with mixed results. I would like to try Bead for a change of scenery and a shot at a big laker or ling.

This link might help, but it looks like the lake is closed from late Sept. till Memorial Day. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/ReportList.aspx?id=373

According to the regs the lake is open but the access road to the lake is gated closed. According to the word on the street you can park on the main road and walk in if one was so inclined. Of course if this warm weather keeps up it may be a moot point.
