Thanks Stacie, I really appreciate it. By the way, I see that a lot of fish are stocked in Lacamas Lake, but it seems that everytime I've been there nobody is catching fish. Wonder why that is?

I think the water temperature has something to do with the fish not biting right now.

Plus Lacamas is getting a REAL bad weed problem.

But keep trying they are out there!!

Stacie- Just a quick question about some lakes in your area. McBride, Blue, and Goat Marsh. Are there still fish in these? Do they get any plants at all? Are they under special regs? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Goat Marsh has self reproducing eastern brook. I need to know which Blue Lake as it seems like we have about a million of them!

I am trying to find info on McBride, but may have to wait until John gets back to the office to ask him.

I fished little McBride several times when I lived down there. It had a self
perpetuating population of smallish Cutts in it then and I suspect it still may. Was
fairly good fishing back 6-8 years ago.

I think the Blue he's asking about is located in Sec. 30, T.9 N., R.8 E. in the
the upper Lewis River N. of Spencer Meadow. It is hard to find the trail and seldom
fished. I fished it 10 years ago and it has a self perpetuating population of small
Brook Trout. No doubt they are still in there. Pretty little lake. Deep blue water.

Another Blue Lake that is located in the vicinity of Mcbride and Goat Marsh off of the 8123 rd has decent fishing for SRP cutts. The lake has a selective fishing regulation with all CnR. This is a fun lake to fish. Kinda of like fishing in a bathtub, except a WHOLE lot colder! It has some of the clearest water I've ever seen.

It's been a while since I've been up there , but the Blue Lake I'm talking about is up past Merrill and McBride. I'll check my maps when I get home. It was about 25 years ago, but I do remember a small, very clear, extremely cold lake that we timed just right for what had to be the Annual Washington State Mosquito Convention. I don't remember any fish though. I've since heard of a Blue Lake in that area that was C&R and wondered if it was the same one. Thanks for all the response. Oh, by the way, what is an SPR cutthroat?
