8-Mile Lake (near Leavenworth)

Someone told me that 8-mile lake had crawdads in it.

I made the short hike up to 8-mile a few times to fish, but I've never seen a crawdad.

Can anyone confirm their existence in the lake?

Been about 20 years, but took my kid up there when he was about 3 years old and he pulled one out of the water... real solid red color as I recall..

May just have to hike a trap in with me the next time I go. It couldn't hurt...
