Yeah I was just wondering a bout the Crabbing in Puget Sound. And when the best time to go. Any Tips?

High tides and use what the crabs eat...If it means dropping a line for flounder then doi it....Not sure about how its been though...

I've never crabbed anywhere near Seattle...I got no idea. If you were going to Whidbey Island or somewhere north I would have a better idea as thats were I drop my pots but sorry I can't help you on that one..

Hood Canal can be a great place to crab, just wonering whens the best time to go?

The first few weeks it opens - sorry - I know that's kind of an obvious answer. In Puget Sound there is a lot of pressure and those males get culled out pretty quickly.

Mackerel can be a good bait for the pots, I think I would probably get the best action near Hoodsport in Area 12.
