grouse hunting??

Hey guys I am woundering where, in general, you think I should go, close to home (tacoma) to get my 1year old lab on some grouse?? I 've heard of snoqualmie pass but trying to find some more suggestions??? thanks

you might want to try going out Hiway 410, past Greenwater, and try the forest service roads. I've shot Blues, Ruffed, and Franklin/Spruce grouse up in the hills there. Snoqualmie is good too, up above Lake Kachess, but Greenwat4er is probably a little closer for you. Good Luck.

You could also head west on 101 to Wynoochie lake area. Seems like the west side grouse get's worse every year. I have taken to heading over to plane, by wenatchee lake. Lot's of birds!
