Cow Elk Permit ( North Minot Unit)

I was picked for the modern north minot cow elk permit and was wondering if someone was familiar with this area or coud point me in the right direction on this hunt. any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of private property in the valley, and permission is hard to come by. Best stick to the hills just above the valley. Start at Porter and head west.
