coweeman closed or not???????

anyone know it coweeman unit is closed due to st helens activity.

From what I've heard on the news, there is presently a 5 mile radius "red zone" around the mountain, that you're not supposed to enter. Don't you have to go in to know how far back 5 miles is??!

All Weyco lands east of I-5 are closed to public access.So this means most of the Coweeman.I heard the other day that they are working on allowing some limited access for hunting but have heard no specifics yet.My stepdaughter works for them in the Com center in Longview.I'll have her check tonight and post anything I hear.Probably be tomorrow.She probably works Midnight till 8.Maybe shell call sombody to find out for us.So I can let you know sooner.
