anybody been out chukar hunting lately?

we're going to head over near vantage on sunday for the first (and last) chukar hunt of the season. just wondering if anybody's been out lately, and what the conditions are like. we're planning on hunting the area above the columbia, near the ginko st park (i'm not sure what it's called???)
