Early 80 Dan Wesson 357

Sorry for the double post.

What would an early 80 vintage Dan Wesson 357 in just okay condition be worth. Have a friend who's Dad had one stolen over 20 years ago, called by the Police Dept. and was told they had recovered it and to come and get it. It is in okay shape but the bluing is very rough, like they tried to make it look different because it was stolen.
I myself don't know much about guns.

A dw in great condition is Worth about $300. This is for one that could be used for Silhouette with the removable barrel. If the gun has a fixed barrel and is in dire need of cleanup and work, 100-125 is tops.
