Archery Turkey (pic) - 05/11/06 10:43 PM

Here is a young bird I took before work this morning with my Allegiance.
Pulled him to 40 yards and drilled him with a 100gr slick trick.
I've been having a blast with my 13 year old kid.
He has found just about every way there is to miss a good tom.
This was my last day I could hunt.
I'm counting on him to get a good one this weekend.

So jealous I can barely stand it.......

I've taken my son turkey hunting the last three years, but I haven't figured them out. I can get them to gobble, but nothing has come in for me yet.

I'd be pumped to get one with a shotgun. you have got to be proud to do it with a bow.

Huge congrats from me...... but I'm still jealous.

This is one of the coolest fn things I've seen. I might even switch to archery hunting for turkeys. It's almost 20 mintues but after the 1st 5-10 seconds you'll wanna watch it all.

Nice work. Taking a tom with a bow has to be one of the toughest things to do. Congrats
