Rainey's first day of hunting!

Got to finally see a little of our efforts in action yesterday. I certainly can't say I've been working to make her a field trial dog, but did enough that we hoped she could go fetch a few birds for us on those rare days we get to go hunting.

Wasn't quite sure at first what to do with the great big ducks ... but a little teal proved to be the ticket to get the light to turn on for her ... now she knows, and them big ducks aren't any different than the little ones!!



A fun day for both of us ... hope we get to do a little more this year!!

Now she'll finally make momma happy. Sit Rainey, dont move Rainey, Bob-tell her to stay, she's running around Bob. I can still hear it!! OH ya one more, leave them alone Rainey! (the two guy's with Labs) BTW Corey that was Stam that got her all wound up when ever you turned your back.
