168 hrs & counting............

Well we are down to one week til the opening of my hunting. My hunting partner & I drew the any bull Toutle bull tag along with another party of 2 that we hunt with. Been scouting for a month now. Gone through all my gear I think 6 times. Bow is ready. Meals are made and in the freezer for the 9 day trip. Whats left to do? Shoot my bow some more? Rack my brain for anything I might be forgetting? hopefully I will be posting some pictures about 2 weeks from now?

Sweet, get er done !!! The bow hunters around here are already filtering in stories about the BIG one that got away.. always the same dudes " I was riding a 5 point and a spike was blowing me and I couldn't get a shot on this 7x7 because this 6x6 was in the way !!" Then there are the dudes that either shoot one or have no story to tell.

On another note, a bunch of units are locked down because of fires.. its up to 1 1/2 million acres burned so far
