Anyone have advice for setting up a moose hunt? I've got a client that wants to take his 12 yr old daughter out to shoot a moose. This would have to be a lodge/guided hunt for sure. Any advice would be great. Location and price doesn't matter so much, just someplace with lots of animals to keep it interesting......

The highest concentration of moose in AK per square mile is the area we hunted ... suggest that he put in for the Koyukuk region if money is no issue. There are only 2 or 3 (depending on the 2 weeks of the hunt) non-resident permits issued for guided hunters ... but few enter becuase of the cost involved. I would guess it would be a $10K+ hunt.

I was lucky enough to get drawn for a Washington Selkirk moose tag. Shot a 57 inch bull. If anyone gets drawn let me know I worked my butt off getting that place dialed in. I will go with you...
