She was shooting a Browning A Bolt in .270. The bear measured 6' 2"; not too bad for a first bear out there.

That was one happy lady right there and an excellent video of the hunt. Nice hunt don't let the bunny huggers discourage her over their comments on U Tube. She did a good humane kill on that bear.

Six foot two is a nice sized adult Black Bear and the pelt looks like it's a Premium one in the video. I shoot one that squared out at six foot out behind the Jefferson County Sheriff Office a number of years ago I call it my Jail House Bear and the Taxidermist calls it my Salt & Pepper Show Bear. He showed the Bear Rug he made with it all over the Northwest at various trade shows before I picked the rug up. He had a number of guys try to buy it from him at those shows.
