Brothers whacked a big ol whistle pig

They called this Bull in last year and again 2 days before they stuck it. Said he was a real growler with a low tolerance for intruders.
check out the size of the whale tails. They scored it just under 350 with 52" main beams real heavy but lacking width. Said the body was more impressive than the rack. Public land, unguided with an over the counter tags.

I am pretty sure, if that were me, I wouldn't sleep for a week and if I did manage to doze off it would be with a big dumb smile on my face.




That is a great bull.

By the time it was all packed out plus a trip to the ER for a smashed finger it was 2 days after the kill and sleep wasn't a problem.

Brother standing in the truck(Doug) was the shooter and the other (Brian)called it in. 2 days before the rolls were reversed and with the same bull within 40 yrds Doug stopped calling and Brian watched it at 40 yrds for over 5 minutes without a clear shot at it. He will never be forgiven.

Outstanding bull. I like the rub marks on the antlers.
