RIP Colockumelk- A hero lost - 04/27/13 03:38 AM

Early this week we tragically lost an American hero. Those that are on hunting-washington.com may have heard by now, but for those who haven't, Captain Aaron Blanchard (aka. Colockumelk) was killed in action last week while serving as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan. The full story and out pouring of support can be found at the link below.

Aaron was an avid outdoorsman, archer, and elk hunter. He leaves behind a wife and two small children. Efforts are currently underway on hunting-washington.com to raise money that will be given to his family. There are a number of ways that you can help show your support for Aaron's family. There are several donation opportunities and also many auctions items up for bid, with all the proceeds going to his wife and children. Please take a moment to reflect on Captian Blanchard's service and sacrifice and then go to one of the links below and show your support.
