Couple of photos from this weekends duck hunt.

I hunted ducks in eastern Washington Friday and Saturday. Damn cold out, but Tye didn’t seem to mind. Yesterday was pretty easy limits of greenheads. Today was tougher but what a sight to watch two labs bringing in an early morning double.

That looks like a nice hunt Dave! I spent a day up in Bellingham by myself a week ago. I haven't hunted ducks in a couple years and I couldn't connect to save my life. I shot a box and a half for five birds. Oh sure, I am hell on clays... But I think that is what screwed me up.

Nice bunch of greenheads! Cant wait to get after them myself. Lookin at those almost makes me want to bag the fishin trip tues, and go shoot birds.

An old sage like yourself probably used no more than a shell or two per bird

I don't remember missing any. But my memory can be quite selective. And I'm not an old Sage . . maybe an old Lamiglas.

Nice fatties Dave. I wonder if you have tried on the wet side for ducks and if so, how has it been?

Down here in Grays Harbor it has been a terrible year for ducks.

Misguided - there have been a really good number of widgeon and pintails on the coast. Although i typically target the geese only, there have been lots of ducks.
