Tried to drop a lamb with a suppressed .22. Yeah, not as effective as you would think. Scaled up after that. Sure you could kill with it, but there are much more effective and quiet options available.

I want to do something like that with my 22/45. Just need to save the scratch. I am debating doing the aftermarket route like Parker's and others or selling mine and getting the model already threaded. I would also change the barrel on my 10/22 to make it threaded as well.

Tactical Solutions sells the threaded upper portion of the .22/45 for about $250.
