Oh no, another snagging thread. Do you release native turkeys? .... Only kill the hatchery.

I didn't know we have a hunting site! You guys keep it secret. Aren't you happy there is no snagging or native vs hatchery issues. Well, there is always SBE vs 11-87 vs gold hunter vs 390 .... but I am sure it won't get as hot as native vs hatchery.

Aren't you happy I found you wink Just wanted to say Hi.

You have to run a trot line for them wild turkeys, you can tell the wild ones becase they have an intact beard. They cut the beards of the brats when they are hatchlings. So anyway, you got this long trot line with multiple droppers, and I mean a lot of dropers. You strtch this thang out in the woods, make sure no one sees you, gat yourself sitcheated in a good hidey hole and wait. When you feel the bump give that thing a huge pull, and hang tight if its a wild turkey you are going to be in for quite a battle. These birds can really jump. If it is a brat, just pull it right in, they don't put up much of a fight. Sure taste good though.
