Anyone out there ever gone through the CMP process? I am interested in picking up an '03 Springfield from the CMP.
I've been checking them out, I want one of the Kimber match .22's. I have heard that they are legit and easy. Post another when you get yours.

One of my fellow gun nut friends just ordered a match AR-15 through the CMP. Sweet weapon.
He has also received M-1's, three to be exact. One he went for a select pick on, and two he just took any weapon. All three were beautiful, but the select rifle was better in every respect.
His M-1 carbine, a Winchester, is great, and he also has a Remington match .22 LR that is excellent.
