Escaped Orcatraz for a few days and thought I'd hit the Green somewhere above Flaming Geiser--water I haven't touched since high school. Any recent reports?

The upper green looks good, but no word of any heads. What a storm we had! Alot af nasty log jams.

I floated the greeen with two buddies of mine from whitney bridge to soos creek. The water was a bit high but the water color was perfect. My buddy lost a fish but that was it. Overall a real slow day with nothin much happenin.

Got a nice 6lbs hatchery fish yesterday and a beatiful 9lbs. native hen this morning on jigs.

Hiked down into the Gorge and fished for 3 hours yesterday. Water was gin clear. Didn't touch or see a fish.

They're around. They aren't real plentiful though. Hit 5 this week on jigs including 1 nice native.

Fished whitney to Soos on 12/31/99. No luck except for one nice Cutt,that we released. Spoke to another fella in a boat that put in just behind us, and they struck out as well. We'll keep our fingers crossed that the Nates start showing up soon.
