FLYGUY, I have seen alot of homemade pontoon boats on the Yakima. Most of them are framed with electrical conduit (metal), and I even saw one framed with glued P.V.C. As for the pontoons I never asked the guys where they got them, but I tried to buy a spare pontoon for my steelheader 9' and they were $300 +- each. Good luck.
