Flyfishing the Kalama

I thinking of heading down to the Kalama tomorrow and fishing the fly section only. Has anyone seen the river lately, suggestion on patterns, and any reports? Email if you wish! thanx

My dad used to fish the fly water only about five years ago. Last year we went up to the hatchery to see what the fishing was like. The hatchery worker told us that barely any fish are put over now. The only fish put over are natives and there are so few there's really no point in fishing for them. I don't mean to ruin your fun but the fishing there sucks.
