Hey, I'm looking at taking another group of kids fishing and was thinking the weather looks to be good for a run out of PA. Seems that I've spent more time taking kids fishing than adults this year!

Any reports from those fishing the Strait lately? Need to choose between PA and Bush Pt/Possession.

PM is ok if that works better for you. Thanks!

PA has been red hot out by the yellow midchannel marker for the past few weeks. Most of our fish were down 80 feet but some on top, some deeper.

Fished out of PA today. 2 fish before 9 a.m. and then it went dead. Got our last 4 fish betweeen 11 and 2. All the fish were caught between 105' and 145' on the wire (12 lb cb). There are fish around, but not red hot today.

Thanks for the info. Saturday was a little slow in the morning, but with a crew change I went back out for evening bite for beautiful weather and excellent fishing. Got 8 coho in a couple of hours and lost a bunch (kid fishing is like that) but nothing big. Sunday was ok in the morning, although we got on the water pretty late. Had a heck of a time boating the fish we hooked, though. But, lots of opportunities in a couple of hours. Sure wish we could have stayed till the evening as it was just an amazing day out there.

Glad you had a good time. I'll be heading out tomorrow. Getting reports of some nice fish being caught. One of the reports from today had the fish at 85' on the wire. Much better than 140'.....

We did well today also, had 9 fish on and 6 in the box and back to the dock by 1030. Much better then fishing all day to get 4 fish, like it has been this week.
