This guys stuff is absolutely stunning... in BOTH still and moving imagery. The boy's got undeniable skills. Prepare yourself for a master class presentation. https://vimeo.com/146049113(BTW anyone know how to embed a Vimeo on this board?)

Gives a whole new meaning to the idea of seeding a tributary to capacity

Have you ever been up to see the Adams sockeye? You can walk along the river with millions of fish in it. Every four years it is a real tourist attraction.

Classic case of dangerous over escapement, we need to reduce those numbers to a more manageable population like we've done with Chum, Lake Washington Sockeye, Coho, Wild Steelhead and others in this state.

Trivia - There are two populations of freshwater seals in the world. Lake Iliamna is one. Where is the other? Which lake, and which country?
Terrific video! Drone technology is wonderful, especially with great weather conditions, Alaska wilderness, gin-clear water, and lots of fish.

Ding, ding, ding!! We have a winner. Lake Baikal in southcentral Russia is correct.
You win an all-expense paid, one-way trip to Siberia to visit the lake. Bring your swim suit and water ski's.....

love all those reds in what look like beaver ponds. Also interesting was seeing fish everywhere yet for some reason tight clustered groups for no apparent reason. Cool stuff.

Beautiful. To think that could have been somewhere in THIS state at one time. I've seen the lakes, rivers and salt water in this state at their best in my lifetime and it's almost a curse as it's a reference to how sad it is now. I hope that is preserved up there before it's too late if it isn't already.
