No salaries; as with most things Clintonian, deals are set up to obscure and misdirect from what they’re up to. For example:
While Sweden was lobbying Hillary’s State Department to forgo sanctions against its doing business with Iran, Bill Clinton’s foundation set up a fundraising arm in Sweden that collected $26 million in donations. Ericsson AB, Sweden’s second largest employer, was pitching telecommunications to Iran at the time, and decided to pay Bill $750,000 for one speech, because, you know, the Swedes are just mad to hear an hour of random musings from an impeached American ex-president…wink-wink, nudge-nudge…(Maybe it was a fad; Ericsson had shown no urge to donate to the Clintons in the ten years prior ;-) ) Hillary left Sweden alone in its dealing with Iran despite warnings from other State Department sources.
Laureate Education, a for-profit college company paid Bill $16.5 million to be its “Honorary Chancellor”, and give about a dozen speeches over a few years. Shortly after his appointment, Hillary’s State Department began directing at least $55 million USAID dollars and other grants to a sister nonprofit, International Youth Foundation run by Douglas Becker, Laureate’s founder and chairman.
See how that works? No need for messy “salaries” to be paid for specific favors or actions. That sort of thing is for the peons who would actually be indicted if they caused security risks for the country, violated regulations, destroyed records, etc.
