I don't know why, but they call them party boats down there,not charter...go figure.

Generally speaking...

Charter = buying the whole boat
Party = fishing with strangers

It's where the most desperate, despicable, and lowly of all the degenerates go to be coddled and treated like fisherman. The ones with moist asses can intermix with the ones wearing grundens

In other words.....the Dark side.

Bent - Not everyone can afford to own a boat or can safely operate offshore or downriver. Or they want to fish new areas of the world; encounter different types of fish or create cool memories. Or its just easier. I myself, would fish for Tuna everyday if I could, but I can't. A day or two per year is about all I can swing and that's generally enough to get a year's worth of tasty meals.

Whatever the reason, its cool. People are out and about partaking in a sport they love and I won't knock a person for that. I've been on many myself, including with some Captains that post here.
