Edmonds Coho Derby Sept 6th! Get your tickets now!

The Edmonds Coho Derby 2014 is on! Coho are starting to come into the Puget Sound and you need to get your tickets now. As many of you know this is the family friendly derby. All proceeds go back into our fisheries and keeping us fishing. Puget Sound Anglers Sno-King Chapter is dedicated to protecting your fishing rights and engaged. Plese support us to support you and get your kids in our the derby. We have two weigh in stations. One at the Edmonds Marina Sling and the other at Bayside Marine.

You are right Ron. Kathy and I had three days of limits between
Possession and the Shipwreck over the weekend. Seems the larger stock is up top (25-35 ft) even with the noon sun.

Should be a great turnout once again so get your tickets early as some anglers could not get them last year !

The prize list is great this year not to mention the $5000 !

do not plan on launching in Mukilteo next Fri, Sat, Sun (5th, 6th, 7th)
Launch will not be accessible due the the annual Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival.

I was curious what the winning fish weighed for this derby. We had the Kitsap Armed Forces derby yesterday as well. I got 10th out of 28 fish with a 5.75lb hen. The winning fish in our Derby was a solid buck at 8.93lbs.

The winner was just over 11. Second was 8.8

We didn't weigh in but had six on board. Turns out we had a top 10 fish at 7lb. Figured it was a nothing Coho and not worth the weigh in!

Damn.

mad skills rite there baby.

sad part is I missed 2 of the last three days of buoy 10 to be at that derby'.
This year I left the derby to go meet doc at B10 without weighing in a fish so Kelly and Nelson did it for me.


Nelson insisted we had to keep that fish when it was caught. Now I know why
