Raining and windy in Bremerton... so glad I went fishing yesterday!

As usual for the entire summer....hardly a trace here in Fall City.

4 a.m., Saturday morning.......the wind and rain just started at my house in Central Park. Just went around house, closing windows, some for the 1st time since May.

No fishing for me, this morning, have missed only 1 day since June 8th and that was to attend NOF meeting in Tumwater.

Raining pretty good here in South Everett/North Lynnwood/West Mill Creek.

Been doing next to nothing in Olympia. But, then again, that is what normally happens here anyway so why should the weather be any different?

My power went out a couple times this morning. Very windy in SE Olympia. I bet the gusts are going 40 or better.

We're getting it pretty good here in the east Mill Creek / Clearview / Snoho area. High winds; a good dose of rain and brief few minutes of light hail. Power has been out several times. Lots of foliage on the streets.

Blowing and raining like a MFr around here...lights keep blinking, I hope they don't go out...I would really like to cuddle up to a beer on the couch and watch the Seahawk game this evening

Some rain today and a lotta' wind this morning. Lights went out a couple times, and I lost a tree, heard the snap and unmistakeable "whooooosh" from my bedroom window.

Interesting day, both the fishing and the ferry ride home.
Only hit myself in the head three times with a clouser minnow.
Fishing was pretty good though.

Yesterday's beach was right hander friendly with the south blow.

Learn to cast with either hand. I may not do really well left-handed but the fly gets on the water rather than in my neck.

Road the storm out @ Ft.Stevens State Park................it got real for awhile Friday night & Saturday. Cool storm to be in on the coast.Good luck,

We got absolutely rocked after my posting Saturday am up here in Snoho / Clearview area. The high gust was in excess of 95 mph. Still without power and its going to take 2 - 3 days before the crews get to my street. All of the roads are closed and there are lines down everywhere. I had to walk a couple of miles up here to Starbucks so I could power up my cell and laptop. I had to evact the house with the dogs because of a certain Douglas Fir that was way too dodgy for my likes. My house escaped damage but most of my neighbors were not so lucky. My buddy's brother dropped a tree onto his femur - compound fracture and air lifted to Harbor View. He's in surgery now.

It's nuckin' futty around here....

Just like the people that buy a home near a airport or highway that has been there for years, then bitch about the noise.

I'm still without power and other utilities at home, but at least they got my road back open so I can drive again. They aren't even close to getting this mess cleaned up.

WOOHOO! I finally got power back as of 11 am this morning. I'm on a well, so I celebrated by pooping indoors.

Sky Guy was a lamb and let me come over last night to shower and have a tasty hot meal. He even let me charge my phone. Thanks Sky Guy!
