Chelan In August? - 08/01/16 06:30 PM

Family is going to be staying on the lake for a few days. I will have some time to fish. No boat, (could rent one). Planning on bringing a bass rod and a 5wt fly rod. Any suggestions? Have to keep tackle pretty lite.

Antilon Lake for Browns. Blue and silver castmaster from the bank. Bank access is a little skinny and it is snakey (mostly bull snakes), but I have done well.

Lake Chelan itself has some pretty good smallmouth fishing.
August should be topwater time.

Hopefully the fire is contained by the lake.

Heading out to Chelan State Park this weekend through the following weekend. Ready to catch one of those lake trout.
