This is a trip I took the weekend of the 14th. My friend from Idaho came up with his son, so it was fun to get him his first salmon and bottom fish. Fishing was pretty good and they reeled in everything. They probably caught about 20 silvers total, not including shakers and blackmouth. The highlight silver was about a 15 pound native the 10 yr old reeled in. I thought he would be disappointed having to release it, but he understood. The 1 fished I caught was a live baited ling. My friend couldn't believe they just hang on.

By the end of the first morning, they were checking the rods and using the DR's while I drank coffee and ate donuts.
