We lost a fellow fisherman today.

Larry Bridenbach, of Elma WA passed away yesterday on his 73rd birthday.

Larry was an avid outdoorsman and bled blue and white every day of his life, supporting the students of Elma High School in every activity.

He was a great guy, who will be missed by many.

A moment of silence was observed at the Lady Eagles soccer match last night. Sad news. He will be missed in the community.

Thanks to being friends with Larry on Facebook I knew more about Elma athletics than I did about my local high school teams!

Again, not me - I am still here as Larry B. Little did I know when I signed up that there was a larryb yet the system allowed it to happen.

He sounds like a great man and I’m sure that his passing will leave a big hole in the lives of his family and friends.

I’ve always enjoyed the faithful fan of high school sports and Larry sounds like the quintessential high school sports fan.....positive, happy and readily available to cheer and support the kids.
