Took a break from the salt today and hit the Yak. Flip-flop is done, water is down and wading is easy.
Started out the day with a Pat's stone and ended up with one fish. Switched up to a double nymph set-up, Copper John & Lighting Bug. Ended up bring three fish to had with the nymph set-up.

Around noon, I switch over to drys. A few bugs hatching, but no real big hatch. I decided to try a black peacock & foam beetle. It turned out to be the right move. I ended up bringing seven fish to hand on the beetle. Missed quite a few fish and lost a pig after a nice run and jump. It ate the fly right in front of me with one of those long slow deliberate takes after following the fly downstream.

My eyesite sucks so bad I couldn't see the beetle, so I ended up fishing it behind a size 10 orange stimulator. Only one fish ate the stimulator, although there were quite a few October Caddis shucks around. Tons of stonefly shucks as well.

A really nice day on the water. Wet wading and no wind. A few pics from today.
