What a bummer. I spoke with her at some charity events years ago before her health issues began. Super nice gal and carried herself with lots of class.
RIP KG

Very sad news.
Kathy was a class act through it all.
She will be missed

It was the Seattle news I grew up watching and continue to watch. Big loss and sad day.

not many people could have endured what she did... and probably even less would have had the attitude she had the entire time...
a true class act, inspiration, and hero to people that have dealt with tumors and cancer in general... and even the people that havent..
i watched her every night along with Dan, and Steve while she was on...
truely a sad loss... truely a REAL person...
RIP Kathi, you will be missed greatly....

Yes, she did. She seemed nice enough, but I didn't know her.
Other folks died today also.
RIP all.

She was working the Childerns hospital fund raiser. From my cousin's son,"I remember her interviewing me many times for the Children's Hospital Telethons". Sad day. She will be missed greatly.

What a neat lady. When she spoke, people listened. She brought humanity to the stories she reported. Hmmmmm...

Just got back from my latest adventure and figured I'd catch up on the news by reading the darkside.
Kathy was a courageous woman and showed great strength throughout her battles. When I worked Marine Patrol we pulled her and her co-host Dan over and she was a nice lady. As I watched one of my friends and mentors die in the Mary Pang fire she showed REAL compassion and I'll never forget that.
May she RIP...she was all class in my book.
