Hard to complain about taking Khalil Mack...he's going to be a pretty decent pass rusher.
I was figuring that the crappiest team in the AFC West might want to put some butts in the seats and sell some jerseys, and no one is going to do that like Johnny Football will.

this, i dont know why you wouldn't just draft manziel to energize your [Bleeeeep!] franchise. bortles won't do it i know that much
Mike Evans just got drafted ahead of him...Johnny might still end up in Cleveland, if so then I think Cleveland killed it trading their pick to the Bills.
They can still get Johnny, and get the Bills' #1 and #2 next year.
Gilbert? He's going to be a decent player, I guess...but I can't believe Cleveland didn't pick a quarterback, and I can't believe they didn't pick Manziel.
so what did yall think about Sanchez, Russell (JaMarcus), Lienart, Carr, Harrington, Leftwich, Couch, Leaf, Stewart, Frye, Nagle, Beck, Grossman, and those yahoo's?

Jags need way to much help on the offensive side of the ball. No WRs, No OL and No RB. They couldn't get people to fill the stadium for free beer. Johnny would have brought a buzz and put asses in the seats.

Romo signed a 6 year contract with 40 million guaranteed in 2013 so I doubt the cowboys will eat that much $$ to put Johnny football on the field but then again they have an idiot as an owner so anything is possible
Johnny football will be a star, he played in the toughest league (SEC) and excelled. plus he has the it factor. I will buy myself and Todd a manziel jersey wherever he ends up.
past college performances are irrelevant now, now is when their life and career in football start... and we have seen time and time again, that great players in college, do squat in the NFL...
Derek Carr will have a pretty short drive with his moving van to get to his new home in Oakland. I bet if Al Davis was still alive that the Raiders would have taken Manziel

Paul Richardson*, WR, Colorado Height: 6-0. Weight: 175. 40 Time: 4.40. Projected Round (2014): 2-3. 5/6/14: Richardson started the 2013 season in impressive fashion after missing the year before. He was the most productive receiver in the nation in Week 1 with 10 receptions for 208 yards and two touchdowns against Colorado State. All season, Richardson gave Pac-12 defenses problems, including Oregon (5-134). He maintained his strong play with 83 receptions for 1,343 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2013. Richardson ran fast at the Combine - as expected. He needs to add some weight to his frame.
Richardson started his collegiate career strongly as a freshman and sophomore. In 2010, he hauled in 34 passes for 514 yards and six touchdowns. Richardson made 39 receptions for 555 yards and five scores in 2011. He lost 2012 to a torn ACL that occurred in the final week of spring practice.
Niners have had a pretty good draft...with the Seahawks it is, as usual, a "wait and see" kind of thing.
Speaking of drafting a player that's good at a lot of things without having a perfect fit in any one position and taking a chance on him...I can still see Michael Sam on the 'Hawks as a kick coverage player and a player in specific packages on defense.
Just in case anyone didn't notice that the NFC West was the best division in football last year...fuckk, it doesn't matter, we're still going to spend all offseason and most of next season talking about the Saints and the Patriots.
The last place team in our division would have probably won four or five of the other seven divisions. The last place team.
During the run up to the Super Bowl I was frankly amazed at some of what passed as "analysis" by the "pros"...but I understood that the game had to be hyped up as some sort of super contest.
They don't call it the "Super Bowl" for nothing, after all.
As NickD90 can attest due to our conversations before the Super Bowl, I was pretty convinced that it was not only going to be a Seahawk win, but a very convincing Seahawk win, and that we'd win in every single facet of the game convincingly.
I don't think I was being a homer about it...I looked at the matchups and didn't see anywhere where Denver was as good as us, and most of the matchups were lopsided in our favor.
The commentators all said otherwise...but I cut them all slack because they are hyping the game, not just telling it like it is.
That's what I thought was up, at least...until the run up to the 2014 Draft.
Every day the "experts" have been yapping about what is going to happen in the draft this year...fuckodeer, they treat Kiper and McShay like they are some sort of fuckin NFL Gods or something...and if possible all the "experts" were even more wrong about how the draft would go than they were about the Super Bowl.
Now I'm starting to think that they weren't just hyping up the Super Bowl...I'm starting to think that the "experts" don't really know fuckall about football, or the draft, or much else, frankly.
Anytime the media covers a subject that you are intimately familiar about they butcher it to the point that it no longer even resembles what you know to be true. From the 787 to Oso they simply get everything wrong.
Once you acknowledge that you can never again not recognize it. Sort of like hearing that spinner going dingalingaling every time that chromer goes airborne. Acknowledge it once and you'll never not hear it again.
That's why I look at media coverage of politics, Ukraine ,MH370 or whatever as entertainment as it's certainly not accurate and factual!
Cue the haters, bigots, homophobes, and asshats...Who once again will find themselves on the wrong side of history, just like they always do.

That's exactly why it will always be an issue . Keep the separation alive , don't treat him like everyone else, keep reminding everyone that the hey are bigots by default and he's special because just because he sucks dick. Insert jack off gesture.
Here comes the campaign. I thought he was a football player ? Seems like he is a gay football player. Hey everyone remember to treat the " GAY" football player just like the other football players . We will remind you everyday that he is special because he is gay but you have to forget that and just treat him like a football player , which of course he is except he is gay and that' makes him special .
Toad you insult your own intelligence which in and of itself is impossible. Thanks for reminding every one that the are homophobes before they are homofobes because you knew they were homophobic before they even did anything homophobic . Because you occupy a special place in the intellectual hierarchy .

Wrong side of history? Homo's have been hated and shunned for hundreds if not thousands of years.
It seems that those who support the "Gays" have come out forcing this fag in our faces. ESPN doubled down on how disgusting he is showing the picture of him kissing the little white fag. Truly revolting.
Where was the picture of Manziel kissing his hot girlfriend?
Fag bashing has a whole new meaning now. Watch how they attack me for not toeing the line.
im really excited to see Richardson.. he is Percy Jr., and defenses having to cover 2 of those type players on the same down, is going to be a hell of a challenge... not to mention the rest of the core...
We'll know teams' draft grades in about 3 seasons. That will give the good picks a chance to develop, and the bad picks a chance to prove themselves useless.
Giving grades before the test doesn't make much sense.
Summers Evo . I will clarify my remarks just in case there others as dim witted as you . Using satire and other literary vehicles I took exeception to Todd reserving the right to call people names simply because they may be critical of Sam. It's the same tactic employed by the left toers re Obama . You cannot be critical of him without being racist. It's a cheap tactic . Either Sam is a football player or he is not and should be judged as such like all all others , gay has zero to do with it. If we are ever to get to a place of equality it starts by everyone equally measured and with out labels. If he remains a gay football player we have stepped backwards not forwards.
Btw. dans calling another man a cocksucker is now verboten in liberal circles as it is anti gay. Please strike it from your perjorative dictionary you old cornholer.
are you saying that theres nothing wrong with him being gay, and that the media should just leave that part out, and only call him a football player, because thats what he is?

Yep. The prognosticators are wrong as often as not. Time will tell; it always does.
The Boz has re-invented himself as Johnny Football.
you heard it here first.
book it.
+ 1 million. Mr. Happy Feet ain't gonna last long. He could get away with his on-field antics in college whereas he'll be pushing up daises if he tries that junk in the Pro's. Ask Brady Quinn about the Browns. But hey, they sold 2K more season tickets since the draft so what more could an organization ask for?
Shorty has had and will always have a much calmer and cooler pocket demeanor than Mr. Happy Feet. And a better arm too! His transition to the pro game was a lot smoother than it'll be for Johnny Football. This ain't even considering what the kid will do off the field with his millions (trouble in River City). I give him 3 - 4 years and he'll be out of the league. You can book it.
